As found.
Heavy grey veining on white. Etching around the sink area and a damaged section on the front edge that needed filling before the top could be polished as one surface.
What was done.
- Edge masked and the damaged section filled and shaped
- Honed to level the fill with the surrounding stone
- Polished across the whole top so the repair reads as part of the surface
- Sealed
What could not be fixed
A filled edge is never invisible on a heavily veined stone. It is colour-matched and smooth, and the owner saw it before the top was polished.
